With a $25,000 yearly budget, an Executive Director and Board of Directors, the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Chemung, Steuben, and Schuyler County was founded in 1986. It began with a few citizens who were concerned about abortion and how it impacted the lives of men and women and the loss of unborn life. 

Today, the Southern Tier Pregnancy Resource Center, (STPRC) offers hope for women at 2 locations. Counseling, education and limited medical services are available at our main office in the Medical Arts Building at St. Joseph's Hospital in Elmira, NY and counseling, education and material support is offered at our satellite office on Maple Avenue in Odessa, NY in Schuyler County. Over 300 women are seen each year by trained volunteers and staff.
